Repeaters are used to “repeat” a received signal from a walkie talkie (or base station) and transmit out to other walkies or base stations over one selected channel. Repeaters can repeat or retransmit incoming signals about 10miles. Repeaters are useful in scenarios where your production needs to communicate over terrain scenarios that prevent line-of-sight reception between walkies. Operation:
This unit requires AC power to operate. The antenna that comes with the unit should be raised as high as possible on the accompanying combo stand.
